Crowdfund a Cybertruck
Teslings is a community-funded project to buy a real Tesla Cybertruck, print sponsors' logos on it, and drive it around Orange County, California. Anyone can help — with a few dollars, or by bidding for ad space.
Two ways to back the truck
Chip in — any amount from $5, listed on the Backers wall (or anonymous). Bid on a panel — the leading bid on each panel at close gets its name and logo printed there.
Where the money goes
The vehicle, sales tax, registration and the vinyl print are itemised on the Transparency page. Estimates are replaced with real receipts once the truck is purchased.
Frequently asked questions
- How does the Cybertruck crowdfund work?
- Chip in any amount from $5 toward the goal, or bid on one of six panels (frunk, tailgate, four doors). The highest bid on each panel when bidding closes gets its logo printed there. Every payment counts toward the same goal.
- How much are you trying to raise?
- $90,795, which covers the Cybertruck AWD, estimated California sales tax, DMV fees and panel printing. The full breakdown is public on the Transparency page.
- Are contributions refundable?
- No. Every contribution and bid is charged immediately and is final. Contributions are also not tax-deductible — this is a private community-funded project, not a charity.
- What happens if the goal isn't reached?
- Payments are non-refundable and the truck is only bought once the goal is met. Read the Rules page before contributing so you know exactly what you're agreeing to.
